  • DFA Records will issue Eric Copeland's The Remixes, based on his 2013 LP Joke In The Hole, on June 23rd. Copeland built his reputation as a member of Black Dice, whose DFA ties stretch back more than a decade. He linked up with the label in 2013 to release Joke In The Hole, which fits in among solo releases for L.I.E.S. and Animal Collective's Paw Tracks outlet. Animal Collective member Panda Bear kicks off the EP with a rework of "Cheap Treat," the two artists' bands having worked together on splits, videos and more since the early-'00s. DFA artist Larry Gus contributes his take on "Grapes" and Fhloston Paradigm, AKA King Britt, contributes a rare remix under that alias. Proibito boss Anthony Naples rounds out the EP with his rework of "Bobby Strong." Tracklist 01. Cheap Treat (Panda Bear Version) 02. Grapes (Larry Gus Remix) 03. Cheap Treat (Fhloston Paradigm Remix) 04. Bobby Strong (Anthony Naples Remix) DFA Records will release Remixes on June 23rd, 2015.
