  • Vienna is synonymous with artistic and intellectual prowess, so not surprising then is the fact that two guys from this illustrious city, better known to the world as the duo Kruder & Dorfmeister, should unleash onto the world what has become one of the biggest cult records of the last two decades in the ‘K & D Sessions’, a release that has been named a “masterpiece of the century.” In Australia, the release has reached in excess of ‘gold’ status, quite an achievement for an act that are notoriously low key, shying away from the celebrity status they have achieved through producing such a popular release. With re-mix offers streaming in at a rate of knots the duo have turned their attention to re-working the likes of Roni Size, David Holmes, Rockers Hi Fi, Depeche Mode and Madonna and manage to juggle this with their own productions, an impressive effort considering the high quality of the end products. Set to blow Australian and New Zealand audiences away with a planned 5 date tour the bass heavy downbeat gurus, whose DJ set will mix across all genres encompassing the a soundscape which includes breakbeat, hip-hop and ambient beats, are not to be missed.
