Rick Wilhite and Doc Martin play Crate Diggers in Portland

- Zernell and Supreme La Rock join the bill for this month's Discogs and Grimy! event.
- The second edition of Crate Diggers takes place at Portland's White Owl Social Club on August 29th. Crate Diggers is a record fair followed by a free party. During the day, 30-plus vendors will take up residency at the White Owl, with mostly local DJs spinning throughout. Once night falls, a free party starts up featuring jocks who are accustomed to digging through vinyl. LA rave veteran Doc Martin tops this year's bill. He'll be joined by "The Godson," AKA Three Chairs member Rick Wilhite. Seattle collector Supreme La Rock and Grimy! boss Zernell round out the lineup. A representative from Discogs told RA that the website partners with Grimy! for the event "because we are a community-built database and it's critical for us to show up and participate within the community that continues to contribute and support our mission of building the biggest and most comprehensive music database."
