- Joel Ford and Ian Evans will release their debut LP together through Cascine in November.
Napolian & Airbird are dropping a collaborative record, Mr. Foolish, on November 13th.
Airbird is the production alias of Joel Ford, an artist probably best known for his collaborations with Oneohtrix Point Never—first as Games, and later as Ford & Lopatin. Napolian (AKA Ian Evans), meanwhile, is one of the younger signings to Software, with the hip-hop tinged solo album Incursio already under his belt. The two first teamed up on 2013's single "In The Zone."
Their new LP will come via transatlantic concern Cascine. The label says that Mr. Foolish was inspired by "West Coast dreams and East Coast nightmares" and that it's a "surprisingly accessible blend of American house, cosmic funk and hip-hop." You can stream "J.Park" below.
