Hospital Productions has announced a new album from Clay Rendering.
Clay Rendering is former Wolf Eyes member Mike Connelly and his wife Tara. Snowthorn will be their first album together. The project debuted in 2013, and has released three EPs. The most notable of those records was Waters Above The Firmament, a four-track ambient 12-inch that marked Mike Connelly's departure from his former band Wolf Eyes' more industrial, noisy sound. Clay Rendering eventually returned to those industrial soundscapes on their most recent EP, Fire is Fall’s Rose, so it's likely there'll be plenty of similar material on the upcoming nine-track album, along with "Gothic, ambient, black metal and dream pop."
