The drummer of the band that was performing at Colectiv when the fire took hold has died from his injuries.
Among the latest victims is Bogdan Enache, who was one of four people to die on Sunday, November 8th. He was the drummer of Goodbye To Gravity, the metal band that was playing in the venue when the fire started. As Associated Press report, Enache was being transported to Switzerland for treatment on his burns when he suffered cardiorespiratory failure. The plane headed back to Romania as medics tried to resuscitate him but he died shortly after landing back in Bucharest. Goodbye To Gravity's two guitarists also died last week from their injuries.
Romanian officials say dozens of people remain hospitalized with severe burns and there's a possibility the death toll could still rise. The fire has sent shockwaves through the country, with mass protests in Bucharest leading to the resignation of Prime Minister Victor Ponta and his cabinet. The fire was started by pyrotechnics let off inside the venue. Colectiv frequently held dance music events, with recent bookings including Baby Ford, Nicolas Lutz and Matthew Dekay.
