A new record store called black.round. twelve has opened in Berlin.
The store is located in Friedrichshain in the city's east. It's an area home to a number of other well-known vinyl retailers—HHV, Audio-In, Mitte Musik—all of which carry a large back stock of older records alongside newer selections. black.round. twelve will be managed in a similar vein, complemented by a sizeable Discogs catalogue which buyers can access online. The new store's owner seems to have a soft spot for stripped-back house and techno, which means there's a hefty section of new minimal inside (it's one of very few Berlin stores carrying Romanian labels). The shopfront is open Monday to Saturday at Weichselstr. 13.
