- A Club Called Rhonda has announced details on its annual New Year's Eve Rhondapolis party, set to go down across four stages at The Standard in Downtown LA. The established LA promoters have taken over the hotel on December 31st for the past few years, where all rooms are given over to the event's guests. Felix Da Housecat and LA legend DJ Harvey sit atop the lineup (the latter also appeared at Rhonda's large-scale Rhondapolis event back in September). Rhonda has also brought over a healthy contingent of British talent, including Jackmaster, xxxy, Dauwd and L-Vis 1990. San Francisco veteran Solar is in the midst of his biggest year ever, hosting a boat party at Croatia's Garden Festival in between frequent European tours, and he'll wrap up 2015 at Rhondapolis. Bay Area-to-Berlin transplant Avalon Emerson is also on the bill, as is Brooklynite Octo Octa, with Ghostly International ambient act Heathered Pearls booked to perform earlier in the evening. For local acts, they've lined up Mor Elian, James Del Barco and Rhonda residents Goddollars and Paradise. Tickets to Rhondapolis are available on RA.
