  • 2AM/FM, the Detroit duo of Tadd Mullinix (AKA JTC) and D'Marc Cantu, will make their live LA debut at The Black Lodge on January 22nd. 2AM/FM has been around for a decade, and followed-up on a string of EPs for labels like Sound, Nation and Creme Organization with their 2015 self-titled album, released on JTC's Bopside imprint this past September. In her RA review, Christine Kakaire said that one contains "beautifully realised, introverted house expressions." Charles Manier, another Mullinix project exploring gnarlier house sounds, also released an LP on Bopside this year, and he's also on-board for next month's show. Fanon Flowers, a Michigan-raised producer whose career spans back to 1996, is also on the bill, supported by Black Lodge residents. The show is presented in conjunction with LA blog and radio show That's Deck. Tickets to The Black Lodge featuring 2AM/FM are available here on RA.
