DJ Nate and Sir Spyro play for Mixpak in NYC

- The Chicago footworker and UK grime artist take top billing at Trans Pecos next month.
- Mixpak will team up with Tryna Function for a gig at Trans Pecos on Friday, January 22nd. The two New York crews have joined forces to present a number of adventurous lineups this year. In September they welcomed Mumdance as well as members of Mexico City's NAAFI crew. Next month they'll take over both floors of the Queens venue Trans Pecos, offering the New York live debut of DJ Nate, a footwork producer who featured prominently on Planet Mu early in his career. UK grime selector Sir Spyro will perform with MC Jammz, and Kablam—a founding member of Berlin's Janus collective—will DJ. Support comes from DJ Lucas and God's Wisdom as well as residents.
