  • Denon DJ has unveiled a new DJ controller called the MCX8000. DJ Tech Tools reports that the MCX8000 utilises "Denon Engine," a proprietary system for organising and storing music not dissimilar to Pioneer's rekordbox software. It comes bundled with Serato DJ software. Two USB inputs allow you to play the MCX8000 in standalone mode without a laptop, while the mixer contains four channels and three effects. The rotary controllers contain velocity-sensitive pads for cueing, sampling and beat-rolling. The announcement comes off the back of a slew of new products aimed at DJs and vinyl enthusiasts. Pioneer recently updated its Nexus line and Panasonic, Sony and Ion each revealed new turntables.
