  • The second edition of Belfast's AVA Festival will happen on Saturday, June 4th. The daylong event, which is being held at T13 Belfast, is divided into two parts: a conference, which runs from 11 AM through 3 PM, and a festival, which starts at 3 PM and kicks on until late. For the festival, the focus is on Irish talent—with a couple of international guests. Rødhåd and Gerd Janson will fly in from Germany, while local favourites Bicep will present the UK premiere of their new live show. Other confirmed acts include Mano Le Tough, Optimo, Phil Kieran, Sunil Sharpe and Terriers, with more names to be added soon. The conference portion of AVA is free to those who register in advance. It will offer Ableton workshops, production panels and lectures. Tickets are available here on RA.
