Yoko Ono's musical prowess over many years has taken a beating by critics and mainstream population. 'Walking On Thin Ice' was originally released in February 1981 with many mixed reactions from the public as it broke current Trends. But the track appealed to the DJs, clubs and dancers as it eventually grabbed a top 20 spot on the billboards.
Today, we see many of Ono's music getting the remix treatment with the tracks 'Open Your Box', 'Kiss Kiss Kiss' and 'Yang Yang' having successful spots in the charts except for 'Walking On Thin Ice (The Remixes)'. The collaboration of some of electronic music's long adored pioneers have secured Ono a #1 spot on the billboard charts as it sweeps the world's clubs and airwaves. The people involved in the musically diverse remixes are the Pet Shop Boys, Danny Tenaglia, Felix Da Housecat and Peter Rauhofer.
