Dean Blunt and Delroy Edwards share the stage in LA

- Gene's Liquor will present Dean Blunt with Delroy Edwards at Echoplex on March 11th. The LA-based Gene's Liquor handles online sales of Edwards' LA Club Resource, as well as obscure rap, hardcore and house releases. Gene's has had a hand in various LA events over the years, but the new venture, undertaken in collaboration with The Echo, is its largest to date. Dean Blunt will travel to LA to headline. The London producer hasn't performed in LA since late-2012, when he played an improvised set at Soho House with James Ferraro (eventually released as Watch The Throne). His collaboration with Arca as Babyfather dropped on wax last month. Edwards has also appeared sparingly in his hometown, save for an opening slot on a hip-hop show last September. LA Club Resource is in the midst of an NTS residency which happens every Tuesday in February—a recent Edwards set for the East London station hinted at new material on the way. Blunt will also play at Brooklyn's newly reopened Market Hotel the night before.
