Samiyam will debut on Stones Throw with Animals Have Feelings on March 4th.
LA-based producer Sam Baker is a close friend and collaborator of Flying Lotus, who released Baker's 2011 album via Brainfeeder. They met nearly a decade ago at Low End Theory, the long-running residency that has shaped the city's left-leaning beat music scene. Baker will debut on revered hip-hop label Stones Throw next month with Animals Have Feelings, a largely instrumental 22-track album. It includes three rap tracks as well, with features from Earl Sweatshirt, Action Bronson and Jeremiah Jae.
