  • Chez Damier will play Flash in DC and Good Life in Boston on March 12th and 19th, respectively. Damier is a central figure in the history of Midwestern house and techno, both as a producer and behind-the-scenes figure. He co-founded Detroit nightclub The Music Institute in the late '80s and managed a number of influential labels, including Kevin Saunderson's KMS, as well as Prescription Records, which he started with Ron Trent in the early '90s. He's got two East Coast gigs booked next month, starting with a stop at DC nightclub Flash where he'll be joined by fellow Chicago house veteran Boo Williams. The next weekend is Boston for the long-running Sweet Shop residency at the intimate Good Life club in the Financial District. Here's a recording of his set from the last time he was in Boston.
Tickets for his DC gig are available on RA.
