- The Berlin-based artist will release her latest 12-inch on the London label next week.
Avalon Emerson will release The Frontier EP via Whities on March 7th.
Though Emerson lives in Berlin and started to make waves while dwelling in San Francisco, her latest record looks back to her desert roots in Arizona. The label says a "psychedelic desert motif" runs through the record, made evident by titles such as "2000 Species Of Cacti" as well as the video for opening cut "The Frontier," which features Emerson riding through a surreal desert landscape on a motorcycle.
This will be the sixth release for the Young Turks-affiliated London label and its first of 2016. This three-tracker sees Emerson joins the ranks of Kowton, Reckonwrong and Minor Science, the production outlet for RA staffer Angus Finlayson.
