  • Horsepower Productions are back with a new album called Crooks, Crime & Corruption. The LP is the first major release from the group—who are largely credited with helping to take garage into the darker territory that would become dubstep in the early 2000s—since the 2011 single "Justify," whose two tracks also feature here. (A Horsepower remix, "Return To E," was also pressed to wax by Berceuse Heroique in 2014.) Label Tempa says that Crooks "sees a certain amount of light emerging through the cracks" in the group's otherwise darker sounds, alluding to "summer BBQ vibes" and a "crazed dash through rush hour London." It features collaborations with Berlin producer Orson and vocalist Harry Keyworth. Have a listen to "Change" below.
