  • Friction is starting a new label called Elevate Audio. Ed Keeley is most famous as the founder of Shogun Audio, a drum & bass juggernaut that counts the likes of Alix Perez, SpectraSoul and Rockwell among its ranks. He's also an accomplished DJ and radio host, and one known for sometimes playing a more big-room variant of the genre than he releases on Shogun. That's the idea behind Elevate Audio, which he calls a platform for "straight up, uncompromising, dance floor drum & bass" that might not fit on Shogun otherwise. Elevate launches with the Dare EP from Keeley. The title track is available via iTunes today, March 23rd, with the EP's full release coming on April 15th. The title track was inspired by the Gorillaz tune of the same name, starting out as a bootleg before Keeley tapped original singer Roses Gabor to record new vocals (with permission from Gorillaz). The EP is rounded off by another original, collaborations with Fourward and Digital Farm Animals and a radio edit of "Dare." The original is out now, with the rest of the EP following on the 15th. Tracklist 01. Dare (Hold It Down) 02. Connected 03. Hyperion feat. Fourward 04. Find Our Way 05. Dare (Hold It Down) (Radio Edit) Elevate Audio will release Dare on April 15th, 2016.
