- Verboten has been seized by the New York state government. Reports of the club's apparent closure began early Wednesday evening on social media. RA obtained a picture of a sign on Verboten's door, courtesy of Twitter user Dance Bitch, that says the building has been seized by state authorities for "nonpayment of taxes." The Rite Of Wednesdays event that was set to happen tonight has since been moved to the Halcyon store inside of Output. RA has reached out to Verboten for comment.
