Odyssia festival launches in Greece with DJ Harvey, Maurice Fulton

- Greece is about to get a new music festival called Odyssia. Going down from August 31st through September 4th, Odyssia will be held at Cariocas Beach, a relatively secluded coastal spot. A fittingly sun-friendly collection of house and disco DJs make up the bill for the inaugural edition, with slots from DJ Harvey, Kyle Hall, Maurice Fulton, Delano Smith and Boo Williams all confirmed. The legendary Body & Soul trio of François K, Joe Claussell and Danny Krivit will also play, celebrating 20 years of collaboration. Odyssia is a joint venture between a number of European promoters. Outfits due to host stages or parties include Half Baked, Phonica and Deviation. Those travelling to the festival are encouraged to stay in the nearby Loutraki seaside resort. More acts will be added to the bill in the coming weeks and months.
