- The duo recorded a live set as Tropical Agitation live at Concrete in Paris last year.
Tropical Agitation has released a one-hour live recording via cassette tape on L.I.E.S.
The project consists of two core label artists: Chicago-born Svengalisghost, AKA Marquis Cooper, and Parisian producer Voiski. The former is best known for his industrial hardware sets, and was featured in RA's Machine Love series when we caught up with him at Sónar in Barcelona in 2014. The latter delivered a 12-inch for the L.I.E.S. sub-label Russian Torrent Versions last month, and is a close affiliate of the Parisian techno imprint Construct Re-Form. They've played occasional live shows together as Tropical Agitation, and L.I.E.S. now has a tape recording of last year's gig at Concrete in Paris (the same club that is currently hosting RA's month-long In Residence series).
