Lovers Rock's new mini-compilation will land in May.
It's the Brooklyn-based label's second compilation following the 2014 EP Lovers Rock No. 6. As usual, the tracks all come from local producers, including Gunnar Haslam who is making his Lovers Rock debut here (check out his RA podcast from January). Label boss Ital contributes a track, as does DJ Python—a moniker of DJ Wey, whose Introduccion EP landed in December—and Sleeper Cell, which is the duo of Ital and Earthen Sea.
