  • Pioneer DJ will release two new headphones for studio monitoring. Both models are designed specifically to achieve the flat, transparent sound required in music production. The HRM-6 features a 40mm HD driver capable of reproducing frequencies from 5 Hz to 40 kHz and boasts a maximum input level of 2,000 mW to minimise distortion at high volume. Bass reflex chambers help "improve airflow" while large earth magnets and a two-layer dampening design make for accurate lows and mids. The HRM-5s are a cheaper option featuring similar attributes to the HRM-6, but with a narrower frequency response of 5 Hz to 30 kHz and a lower max input level of 1700 mW. Both models come with detachable cables and leather memory foam ear pads. Watch a promo video for the headphones below.
Pioneer DJ will release the HRM-6 and HRM-5 in mid-June 2016 for 169 and 109 Euro respectively.
