Mike Huckaby and Kai Alce play Discogs Crate Diggers party in Miami

- Online record marketplace Discogs and Grimy! have announced the lineup for the next Crate Diggers event, set to happen at Miami club Gramps on April 23rd. The Discogs series began last year in Portland with LA-via-Chicago DJ (and Grimy! label boss) Zernell at the helm. Crate Diggers operates around a simple concept: respected DJs playing all-vinyl sets at a free afterparty following a record fair. This past October, Crate Diggers hosted a memorable back-to-back session with Theo Parrish, Marcellus Pittman and Zernell at Lot 613 in LA. For the April event, Crate Diggers stays Detroit-minded, with house mainstay Mike Huckaby and NDATL boss Kai Alce on the bill alongside Zernell. Huckaby spins wax exclusively, except when he lugs a reel-to-reel machine to DJ gigs; To warm up for Crate Diggers, Alce's made a mix for Discogs. Listen to it below.
