- The April event, going down at a TBA location, is being organized by the Track Number label.
The first edition of Pulsar will be headlined by Teklife's DJ Manny on April 23rd.
Manny's part of the core Chicago footwork crew, alongside DJ Spinn and the late legend DJ Rashad. He's just as adept a dancer as he is behind the decks, and he's been a fairly regular presence at parties like RUN, one of a few events around which LA's fledgling footwork scene coalesces. Also on the bill are Eras and Sigils, two acts who are signed to Track Number records, the imprint behind the new night. PHORK, an LA resident who has put out oblique takes on footwork, house and techno on labels like Opal Tapes and Time No Place, is also booked in, with Jung Hollywood, Schwarzmodul and a special guest rounding out the lineup.
