Âme, Tim Sweeney, Red Axes join Bilbao BBK Live 2016

- The Spanish festival has added a new electronic arena for this year, with Four Tet and Floating Points also booked.
- Bilbao BBK Live has announced a new electronic stage for 2016 called Basoa. The three-day festival has been running in the Basque city since 2006, mostly booking rock and pop acts. This will be the first year the event has featured a significant dance music contingent, with 17 names confirmed. Four Tet, Âme, Floating Points, Tim Sweeney, Fort Romeau, Erol Alkan, Red Axes, Horse Meat Disco and Hot Chip's Joe Goddard lead the pack, with additional slots for Pional, Ellum Audio affiliates Agents Of Time and Junior Boys' Jeremy Greenspan, who will DJ. They join headliners like Arcade Fire, Foals and New Order. Bilbao BBK Live 2016 will take place from July 7th through 9th at Kobetamendi, AKA mount Cobetas.
