  • Kai Alce has announced the lineup for his Deep Detroit party, set to happen during Movement on Saturday, May 28th at 1515 Broadway. Deep Detroit, put on by Alce's NDATL Muzik, has long been a favorite for Midwest house and vinyl heads. For the annual gathering, Alce presses up limited records featuring tracks from party guests, which in the past have included Theo Parrish, Larry Heard and Kyle Hall. This year's lineup brings in Music Institute co-founder and Chicago legend Chez Damier for a set. He's joined by Alton Miller, a Detroit house lifer who has released material on KDJ's Mahogani, Planet E and Moods & Grooves, to name a few, over the past 20 years. Alce himself rounds out the bill.
