  • Laura Jones has started a record label called Sensoramic. "Sensoramic is inspired by the idea of losing one sense and expanding your others—a panoramic stretching of the sensory boundaries," says Jones, a DJ and producer who's previously put out records on Crosstown Rebels, Leftroom and Visionquest. "After spending years devoted to digging through the back catalogues of other labels, it's a pleasure and a privilege to finally be able to unveil my own." The first EP on the vinyl-only label is titled Planetary Rebirth. It comes from an artist named Karousel, with Danish producer S.A.M.—who's previously worked with Lazare Hoche as Mandar—remixing "Arrakis." Upcoming records on Sensoramic will feature original tracks and remixes from the likes of Trevino, U-More, VRSION, Kamran Sadeghi and Jones herself. Native American artist Sarah Sense will design all of the label's sleeves. Listen to EP track "Arrakis."
