  • Buenos Aires is temporarily banning dance music festivals following the death of five people at Time Warp Argentina. The Argentinian city's mayor, Horacio Rodriguez Larreta, says Buenos Aires will stop issuing permits for big electronic music festivals until new legislation relating to drug use comes into play, according to The Guardian. The five deaths and four critical hospitalizations that happened at Time Warp Argentina, which took place on April 15th, were attributed to drug overdoses. (Earlier local reports had placed the death toll at six.) There were reports from some attendees of overcrowding and poor ventilation at the festival, whose second night was cancelled.
