Huerco S will release For Those Of You Who Have Never (And Also Those Who Have) on June 6th.
The NYC-via-Kansas producer born Brian Leeds has formed a close alliance with his frequent tourmate Anthony Naples over the past couple years. Leeds released his Railroad Blues and A Verdigris Reader EPs on the latter's Proibito imprint.
The press release for the new one, which also comes via Proibito, doesn't pull any punches. The label calls For Those Of You Who Have Never… "nine of the densest ambient and meditative music pieces since the dawn of music!!" It goes on to describe Leeds' beatless sound as "monolithic and stark" but also "extremely warm" and "intensely personal." It's the second Huerco S album, following his breakthrough Colonial Patterns LP for Software back in 2013.
