  • The weekly Mister Sunday parties will move to Nowadays in Queens this summer season, starting on May 15th. Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin, the promoters and DJs behind Mister Sunday (and Mister Saturday Night), opened Nowadays last June. The outdoor bar and restaurant is situated between the Halsey Street and Wilson Avenue stops on the L train, within walking distance of the Brooklyn border. Mister Sunday had been taking place at the Industry City complex in Sunset Park for the last two years, where they had moved from their original location at the Gowanus Grove. At Nowadays, they offer a "park-like outdoor space" filled with "honey locust trees" and a "big, padded dancefloor." There are seven events announced so far, all of which will run from 3 PM to 9 PM with a full food and drink menu. Listen to a mix from Carter and Harkin, recorded at the last Mister Sunday party of the season last year.
Tickets for all of these events are available on RA.
