  • Silent Servant released the Hypnosis In The Modern Age Vol. II EP on L.I.E.S. today. Silent Servant, real name Juan Mendez, has been keeping up a busy touring schedule while looking after his label Jealous God, which has issued EPs from December and Phase Fatale in 2016. L.I.E.S. says the "sounds of bleep, EBM, and even minimal synth are all present" on the new record, which follows up on his 2011 two-tracker, Hypnosis In The Modern Age Vol. I. That one came out on Sandwell District, the influential techno collective in which Mendez served as a core member. Listen to "Self-Hypnosis" off the new EP below.
