Autechre released a collection of new music, elseq 1-5, via Warp Records today.
The UK duo have been dropping breadcrumbs in the lead-up to today's release. They premiered a new track, "feed 1," on BBC Radio 6 this past Sunday. Then they made a mysterious appearance on the radio station KSUA yesterday in Fairbanks, Alaska, playing some new material.
Their new material went up on the Bleep store today; it's a collection of five albums, elseq 1-5, which can be purchased either individually or together. In typical Autechre fashion, the information surrounding the new music is either cryptic or non-existent. Apart from a few remixes here and there, it's their first new material since 2013.
