Shawn O'Sullivan will release the three-tracker This Coercion Pt. 1 as Vapauteen via L.I.E.S. in early June.
The prolific New York artist produces industrial techno under a number of aliases. He appeared on Shifted's label Avian early this year with a four-tracker under the name 400PPM, and released an album in 2015 as Civil Duty, his collaborative project with Beau Wanzer. This Coercion Pt. 1 is his third 12-inch for L.I.E.S. Vapauteen "is much more forwardly vicious" than his other monikers, he told Juno Plus in 2014.
