Two attendees in their early twenties died after being taken to the hospital from the EDM festival in Tampa this past weekend.
Police are currently investigating the cause of death for 22-year-old Alex Haynes and 21-year-old Katie Bermudez. Another 57 people were also hospitalized at the 30,000-person festival, which included sets from Skrillex, Diplo, Claude VonStroke and Claptone. A local medical examiner says the the two deaths can likely be attributed to drug overdoses, WFLA reports.
"We don't know [what happened]... They have an autopsy going on," Bermudez's mother said to FOX 13. "The hospital didn't know, they were bewildered with how to treat this."
