  • The lineup for this year's Outline Festival in Moscow has been revealed. For its 2016 edition, Outline—which came in at number two in our list of top July festivals—goes down across July 2nd and 3rd. It once again takes place in an industrial setting—this time around it's the Mozal plant for special machines (last year's was held in the Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant). House and techno will be the main sound across Outline's two days and nights, with DJ sets from Ricardo Villalobos, Rhadoo, Daniel Bell, Magda, Low Jack, Cabanne and Noizar all confirmed. A batch of live sets are also locked in, with Ron Morelli, Mathew Jonson, Varg, Philipp Gorbachev and Narcotic Syntax billed. Those after more leftfield sounds are covered, too. Experimentalists such as Byetone, Puce Mary and Cute Heels play live, while JD Twitch and Minimal Wave's Veronica Vasicka have been booked for stints behind the decks. The music will be spread across six stages, which include four open-air areas. An art programme is also confirmed.
