Vayu Sound brings Deepchord and Convextion to LA

- DeepChord and Convextion will share a bill in LA on July 22nd. Licht Und Klang ("Light And Sound") is presented by Vayu Sound, the same promoters who organized a showcase for The Bunker New York a few months ago. This time, dub techno legend DeepChord, AKA Rod Modell, will headline the underground event. The Michigan artist released his latest solo album, Ultraviolet Music, via Soma Quality last November, and recently rebooted his Echospace collaboration with Stephen Hitchell with a new LP, Sea Shell City. Licht Und Klang also sees a rare set from Texas underground hero Convextion, who started releasing deep techno and electro over 20 years ago. Convextion, real name Gerard Hanson, released an EP for Acido Records earlier this year as well as a four-tracker for Solar One Music under his E.R.P. alias. Portland artist wndfrm and Ed Vertov round out the bill. Tickets to Licht Und Klang are available here on RA.
