- The Superconscious Records boss will release an eight-track LP on the French label next month.
Mind Lotion, a new alias from Berlin via Melbourne producer Mic Newman, will issue a full-length called Altitude Attitudes on Antinote in mid-July.
Newman, also known as Fantastic Man, just released a 12-inch under the latter name on Superconscious, the outlet he runs with fellow Aussie Francis Inferno Orchestra. The tracks on Altitude Attitudes, however, were made over the past couple of years, acting as a travelogue of sorts. Antinote says the eight pieces are based off of "recollections of experiences, moments in time from trips—either real or romanticized—to exotic destinations."
Antinote, the Parisian concern looked after by Zaltan, has had a busy year. The imprint also has a full-length from Leonardo Martelli due next month, following other 2016 records from the likes of Stephane Laporte, D.K., Raphaël Top-Secret and Inoue Shirabe.
