- Kevin Martin is back on a grime kick for Ninja Tune this summer.
The Bug's new 12-inch, Box / Iceman featuring D Double E and Riko, is out via Ninja Tune on August 5th.
It's Kevin Martin's first release of 2016, though he did contribute production to a 7-inch from Miss Red that dropped on her label last month. Next up is an EP that features two accomplished grime MCs: Riko Dan and D Double E. "Box" featuring Riko Dan is a "catchy dancefloor banger that heads resolutely back to the club after the moody narrative detours of Angels & Devils," the label says, referring to Martin's 2014 LP. "Iceman" has already been circulating as a dubplate, cropping up in sets from the likes of Mala, Mary Anne Hobbs and Logan Sama. The 12-inch comes with both tracks and their instrumentals.
