  • The Hague's TodaysArt festival will host the premiere of Entropy, an audiovisual performance from Dopplereffekt. Gerald Donald is a founding member of both Drexciya and Dopplereffekt. His work often references sci-fi futurism, and the new audiovisual show is no exception. Entropy–which will debut at TodaysArt—is a new project he conceived alongside astronomers Dr. Dida Markovic and Dr. Zazralt Magic. It will feature original music by Dopplereffekt, as well as lectures by scientists and visualizations of real astronomical data created by the digital arts label Antivj. "Entropy seeks to reinvent scientific storytelling on the one hand, and develop new tools to imagine, display and stage scientific data and narratives on the other," says TodaysArt's curators. The rest of the lineup, which was announced in May, includes Pantha Du Prince, Paula Temple, SØS Gunver Ryberg and Nosaj Thing. The performances, workshops and panels all go down at various venues around The Hague in late September. Revisit RA's 2011 mix from Gerald Donald as Heinrich Mueller.
