- This year's edition of La Calypso will go down on July 22nd and 23rd. Taking place at Canet-en-Roussillon, a coastal town near Perpignan in south of France, the festival is a joint operation between local promoter La Big Familia and Rinse France. They will set up shop at waterfront venue Naudo Beach Club for their main events, before relocating nearby club l'Elephant for the closing party. Levon Vincent, L-Vis 1990, DJ Rolando, Sinjin Hawke and Lakuti are among the international guests booked. In terms of French talent, the likes of Feadz, Everydayz, Piu Piu, O. Xander and Rinse France manager Manaré have been all locked in.
