  • Mike Paradinas' Planet Mu will issue an expanded version of his 1996 full-length collaboration with Aphex Twin. The album came about when Richard D. James heard some tracks Paradinas made under the name Jake Slazenger and invited him to collaborate. Written in 1994, James and Paradinas stated they were drinking while making the ten-track LP, something they don't typically do in their respective solo practices. The record came out in 1996 on James' seminal Rephlex imprint and came to be known, informally, as Expert Knob Twiddlers due to the artwork. Earlier today, Planet Mu posted photos of Mike & Rich promotional posters advertising a reissue of the full-length to its Facebook page. FACT noted one of the images indicates the new version will come with seven previously unreleased tracks. In the comments, the label confirmed the bonus cuts, saying they are "from the vaults." We'll have a full tracklist and release date once they are available. Planet Mu will reissue Mike And Rich soon.
