- Richard Barratt's first solo LP will come out in September.
DFA Records will release a new album by Crooked Man on September 16th.
The Crooked Man project is a pseudonym of Richard Barratt, AKA DJ Parrot, a one-time resident DJ at seminal Sheffield club Jive Turkey. Barratt later had success with the group Sweet Exorcist, a collaboration with Cabaret Voltaire's Richard H Kirk that released acclaimed bleep techno records on Warp Records between 1990 and 1994. The self-titled LP comes after a recent Crooked Man single on DFA called Happiness. The album will be released on digital and vinyl formats.
