  • Jealous God will release a final run of records before closing. There's no explanation for the closure just yet, other than that label boss Silent Servant, AKA Juan Mendez, "sees greater opportunities ahead and wishes to close one chapter before opening a new one." Founded by Mendez, Regis and James Ruskin but now managed by Mendez alone, Jealous God has been releasing EBM- and industrial-tinged techno records since launching in 2013. Judging by the names enlisted for the label's final releases, we can expect more of the same up until it's shut down. Domenico Crisci, Champagne Mirrors, Black Merlin, Phase Fatale and Broken English Club are locked in for the first half of the final run, after which Alessandro Adriani, Beau Wanzer, Alexey Volkov and Pye Corner Audio step up with their own contributions. Mendez will provide Jealous God's final release. All release dates at TBC. Mendez has also collaborated with Berlin Atonal to present a night at this year's festival. Going down on Friday, August 26th, it will be the outlet's final showcase, with live sets from 51717, DVA Damas and Silent Servant & Phase Fatale all confirmed.
