  • Lustmord's next full-length, Dark Matter, will come out on September 30th. Dark Matter is Brian Williams' first studio album since 2013's The Word As Power on Blackest Ever Black (he released two live recordings in 2014). This time, the dark ambient pioneer used "an audio library of cosmological activity collected between 1993 and 2003" for the LP, with material from NASA and The National Radio Astronomy Observatory, among other US institutions and private contributors. Dark Matter has been in gestation for a long time, with Williams first hinting at the project back in 2001. This time the album will land on long-running experimental outpost Touch, marking Williams' debut on the label. Check out a medley of excerpts from Dark Matter.
