Positive Education Festival books Surgeon, Cabaret Voltaire for 2016

- Saint-Etienne's Positive Education Festival has revealed its lineup for 2016. Launched last year, the four-day event's second edition will run from November 9th through 12th across various venues. The festivities will begin at Cité du Design on Wednesday the 9th with performances from Low Jack and Antinote founders Zaltan and Iueke, before Cabaret Voltaire, Volition Immanent, Ancient Methods, The Hacker and Lyon veteran In Aeternam Vale play live at Dôme Palais des Spectacles the following night. By contrast, Friday's bill is made up entirely of DJs, with Bambounou lining up alongside Pev & Kowton and Hodge, who will go back-to-back with Randomer. On the final night, Positive Education will take over Le Fil. Berlin-based Russian Dasha Rush and Birmigham producer Surgeon will oversee the first room, while L.I.E.S. affiliate Nick Klein joins December, Not Waving and Alessandro Adriani in the second room. Additionally, the festival will present a programme of daytime events. Lyon duo The Pilotwings and Macadam Mambo boss Sacha Mambo are locked in for Thursday 10th, with Livity Sound affiliate Simo Cell and BFDM artists Judaah and Basses Terres playing on the 11th. On Saturday the 12th, PEEV will perform in a cinema, while Baleapop affiliates Acid Fortwins bring their machines to Palais des Beaux Arts.
