Convextion heads to Montreal

- The US producer, fresh off the release of his new album 2845, will play live for The Hive next month.
- Convextion, AKA E.R.P., is booked for a party in Montreal on Saturday, October 8th. This year has seen a relative surge in output from Gerard Hanson, the esteemed Dallas electro and techno producer, culminating in the recent release on a.r.t.less of 2845, his second Convextion album and first since 2006. In Montreal, playing live as usual, he'll headline The Hive, which last month hosted Berlin-based favorite Vera. On the local side of the lineup, another live set will come from Matt Salaciak—an associate of Montreal's Temple label—while Chicaiza and VL:-:D will each DJ. Hanson's rare visit to Canada for gigs also includes a set at New Forms Festival in Vancouver on Friday the 7th. Tune in to 2845 cut "Saline Moon."Tickets to The Hive are available here on RA.
