Tim Hecker, Zomby, Gesloten Cirkel play Mira Festival 2016

- The Barcelona event returns for its sixth year, taking over Fabra i Coats in November.
- Barcelona's Mira Festival has released this year's lineup in full. More than 25 acts have been booked for the sixth edition of the experimental music and audiovisual event, which will go down from November 10th through 12th at Fabra i Coats in the district of Sant Andreu. The bill is dominated by live performers, with slots for Death In Vegas, Zomby, Lakker, Elysia Crampton, Gesloten Cirkel, Jlin, Throwing Snow and Alessandro Cortini, who will present his Avanti project. Job Jobse and Kim Ann Foxman are the only DJs locked in. There will also be several audiovisual collaborations. Recent RA Exchange subject Konx-om-Pax joins R&S star Lone, Lee Gamble teams up with Dave Gaskarth, and MFO partners with both Tim Hecker and Roly Porter. Separate to the main event, a portion of the programme will be held at Mira Dome, hosting shows with a 360-degree visual element. Photo credit: Albert Ruso
