Kompakt will release Pop Ambient 2017 in November.
The 17th instalment in the long-running series brings together regular contributors and new faces. Series curator Wolfgang Voigt supplies a remix of Soulsavers' "HAL," while Pop Ambient veterans Jens-Uwe Beyer, Thore Pfeiffer, Leandro Fresco, Kenneth James Gibson, Anton Kubikov (AKA SCSI-9) and Max Würden all return with new productions. Japan's Yui Onodera makes his series debut with two solo cuts and a collaboration with experimental electronic artist Scanner. The 12-track offering, due out on November 25th, will be available in vinyl, CD and digital formats. The vinyl edition will feature a reduced tracklist, with eight tracks spread across two slabs of wax.
